Samantha (Sam) Plett CPA, CGA,
is the principal of Plett and Associates. She earned her Certified General Accountant designation in 2000 after graduating from Kwantlen College with the President’s Outstanding Graduate award in 1998. She has worked in public practice for both large international firms and mid –size local firms in a variety of accounting, taxation and consulting capacities as well as working as assistant controller and cost accountant with a manufacturing company. She understands both the roles and pressures of internal and external accountants and how to best work together to achieve common objectives.
She grew up in the Surrey area and is involved in many non-profit and community sports associations. Her passions include supporting her sons and husband in their endeavours, as well as camping, fishing, paintball, and whatever activities her sons have taken up. She has a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and held the Canada Champ title for her divisions in 2009 & 2010 for forms, weapons and sparring.
Elisabeth Hartmann Danis,
is our Office Manager and “Jill of all Trades.” She has an extensive educational background in Administration including Business Marketing and Administration from Confederation College of Applied Arts and Technology, Office Administration from KPU, and most recently completed a one year Special Education Assistant diploma program at Surrey Community College. She has enjoyed many wonderful working experiences in the retail, corporate, and private sectors and have always enjoyed working with and meeting new people.
Elisabeth grew up in Northern Ontario and made her home in BC in 1988. When not working, you will find Elisabeth volunteering with her local hockey association and other non-profit organizations. She also contributes to her own community by assisting her elderly neighbors and fundraising for her son’s school. Her passions in life are her wonderful family, her quilting/crafting and, of course, hitting the trail with her ATV!
Susanna East CPA, CGA,
grew up in the Clayton area of Surrey. While working part-time she graduated in 2010 from Kwantlen Polytechnic University with a Batchelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She worked hard over the next several years to complete the capstone courses and the full time work experience required to achieve a CGA Accounting Designation. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with Scouts Canada, gardening, knitting, and crocheting.
Kristi Isak CPA, CGA,
is a senior accountant of Plett and Associates since 2016. She has spent 16 years in public practice and worked with many corporate and individual clients providing financial, consulting and tax planning solutions in industries such as construction, real estate, investments, manufacturing, entertainment, not-for-profit, retail etc. She was drawn to the public accounting field by the opportunity to work with a variety of business owners and learn about their business operations and experiences. The most rewarding part of Kristi’s career is the opportunity to being able to help these clients solve their complex tax problems. She is committed to provide outstanding professional service to all business and individuals with financial and taxation issues.
In addition to her CPA and CGA designations, she holds an Honors Bachelors of Commerce degree from Laurentian University.
Growing up in Hungary, Europe, she had the opportunity to visit many European countries and fell in love with the European culture and history. She continues to enjoy travelling, volunteering at her local church, reading, hiking, kayaking and watching sports. Having three children, her life sometimes gets extremely busy but she challenges herself to balance work and personal life effectively.
